Fall Ball, School, and a Mountaineer

Alex is playing Fall Baseball this year and is on the Keyser Blue team.  We are about half way through his season that ends in early October.  He loves playing and has great hustle!  He is still struggling with his swing, but has made a couple of base hits. The league is more laid back then in the spring and the coaches just focus on helping the kids get better at the sport.  It is great practice for him!

School is in full swing so I haven't had much time to write or post pictures.  Alex has homework every night and he is doing very well so far!  He has got 100% on all of his spelling tests so far this year and reads very well now.  He was invited to attend the "Shoe Tying Party" on Friday because he demonstrated he could tie his shoes.  Alex LOVES first grade and looks forward to seeing his friends everyday.  He can't wait to get to school and has so much confidence this year.

Here are some photos from last weeks game.

Last night I was chaperoning a dance at the school so I took Alex along with me.  This was what he decided to wear.  Lookin' real cool!

Alex loves his Mountaineer jersey and playing in the back yard with daddy!
