Rock, Paper, Scissors Champ!!

My husband is a Rock, Paper, Scissors Champ in Oakland Maryland!! He beat out an 11 year old boy in the finals! Don't let that kid fool you with his sweet grin. He was ruthless! (LOL) He was just as competitive as Bob. Bob ended up winning the first place trophy plus a $100 gift card to "UNO's" Pizza in Deep Creek Maryland. Awesome job honey!! I can't believe how competitive my husband is, but to our benefit we will have a night out with some good friends at a delicious restaurant! Wearing his "Bobdana" as he calls it...... I tease him because he looks like he might be in a gang or something...which he is NOT! He decided to let his hair grow out. He usually has his head shaved.

This was all part of the Redneck festival we attended with some friends this past weekend. The weather didn't cooperate the whole time, but it sure did make for some fun memories. The festival started with a boat Regatta. Goal: Create a boat that would float and use "Redneck" Items. Our friends in Oakland invited us and we were too curious. Their son created a boat made of beer cans stuffed with foam, bathroom floor tiles, insulation, and sticks. Very creative use of supplies!! Here are some of the entries! USS Schmidthead!Water Heater with Heineken kegs!Bradley and his boat!
Most Unlikely to float trophy!

My son also enjoyed a few things! Of course the playground was fun, but the "Hulk" was one of Alexander's favorites!

Next for the day was the Redneck games. Our friends participated in these to win a boat, motor and trailor! It was actually very nice. Here are a couple of the challenges they had to do! Sadly, our friend's team came in second and did not win the boat! They really should have! Next year Bob and I will put a team together, so get ready! His competitive streak just might win us something really cool!!

1. The lawn tractor pull....

2. All go in with a suitcase in hand.

3. Come out with clothes from suitcase on!

Of course, what would a Redneck Festival be witout a Belly Flop Mud Pit? Bradley and Dillon tried this out!
