Our cousin Ryan has come to visit for week the last 3 summers. He lives in Baltimore and we don't get to see him much. This summer we had some new adventures in the new house. On the way home from picking Ryan up we stopped at sideling hill in Maryland. We took in some beautiful scenery. Then we stopped at the grocery store and picked up food for the week. Ryan is very interested in cooking so I let him pick out some things to help make for the week. Ryan and Alex made delicious Rice Crispy treats, cheese cake and lots of other tasty foods. We went to the pool almost every day and even went into Cumberland and found a new park. I recommend going to Constitutional park!! We went to swim in the huge pool, but also found that they had an outside theatre stage. We watched part of a musical before checking out a tank, fire engine, jet, and granade launcher. How fun is that? We made it to Broadford lake again this year and had a blast! Alex really looks forward to his week with Ryan because he has someone to pal around with! Thanks for visiting Ryan!
